What do we charge at 1st sharnford scout group?

Monthly Subs £20.00

At Sharnford Scout Group we charge £20 per month to run scouting in Sharnford this covers a varied amount of different costs as outlined below. we ask for this to be paid monthly on the 1st of each month to the group bank account

This cost is scheduled to increase in April 2026 by £2.00 per month

Investiture Fee £10.00

Monthly Subs £20.00

We charge a one time fee of £10.00 for the investiture ceremony this covers the cost of The Neckerchief & Core Badges/Certificate. ideally the Necker and badges are then reused between sections.

A new necker can be purchased at any point for a cost of £6.00

Core Badges Including the world badge, County/District Badge and Group Name tape can be purchased as a replacement set at any point for £2.50

Woggles can be purchased at a cost of £1.50

Camps & Trips - £TBC

Camps & Trips - £TBC

Overnight camps and trips away are not covered by subs. these have a lot of additional expenses to them.

The cost of these varies dependent on expenses but letters are sent out in plenty of time

Section Camps are estimated at £30-£40 per child attending

Group Camps are estimated at £55-£65 per child attending
